The tension between past and present intrigues me. We have no control of time and how fast it passes. When we record an image, this same image dies when we push the button to capture it. It doesn't matter how many times we try to capture that same image, because it will never be the same.
My fear to let go of people, places and memories does play a big part in this interest. I try to bring this melancholy into an image. A fantasy world that I can create myself.
